The Vice President of Global Supply Chain will serve as a senior executive leader responsible for overseeing worldwide supply chain operations, strategic procurement initiatives, logistics optimization, supplier management, manufacturing coordination, inventory planning, and enterprise-wide operational scalability.

This role requires a highly strategic and operationally sophisticated executive with extensive expertise in global supply chain leadership, procurement transformation, logistics management, operational excellence, enterprise planning, and AI-driven supply chain modernization.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Global Supply Chain Strategy & Leadership

  • Develop and execute enterprise-wide global supply chain strategies aligned with corporate growth objectives and operational priorities.
  • Lead worldwide supply chain operations across procurement, sourcing, logistics, inventory planning, manufacturing coordination, and distribution management.
  • Establish scalable operational frameworks supporting international expansion and enterprise growth initiatives.
  • Drive operational excellence initiatives focused on efficiency, resiliency, cost optimization, and supply continuity.

Procurement & Strategic Sourcing

  • Oversee enterprise procurement operations and strategic sourcing initiatives across international supplier networks.
  • Develop supplier partnership strategies to improve cost efficiency, operational reliability, and long-term vendor performance.
  • Lead contract negotiations, sourcing optimization programs, and procurement transformation initiatives.
  • Strengthen supplier governance, compliance monitoring, and risk mitigation frameworks globally.

Logistics & Distribution Operations

  • Direct worldwide transportation, warehousing, fulfillment, and distribution strategies across global markets.
  • Optimize logistics networks to improve operational scalability, delivery performance, and customer service levels.
  • Implement advanced transportation analytics, route optimization technologies, and freight management strategies.
  • Ensure efficient coordination between manufacturing facilities, suppliers, and distribution centers.

Inventory Planning & Demand Forecasting

  • Lead enterprise inventory optimization initiatives supporting operational efficiency and working capital management.
  • Implement AI-powered forecasting systems, improving demand planning accuracy and operational responsiveness.
  • Align supply chain planning with sales forecasts, production schedules, and customer demand requirements.
  • Minimize inventory risk exposure while maintaining service continuity and operational flexibility.

Operational Transformation & Digital Modernization

  • Drive digital transformation initiatives across the enterprise supply chain infrastructure and operational systems.
  • Implement AI-enabled analytics platforms, automation technologies, and predictive supply chain intelligence tools.
  • Enhance enterprise visibility through integrated ERP systems, operational dashboards, and real-time analytics reporting.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean, Six Sigma, and operational excellence methodologies.

Executive Collaboration & Organizational Leadership

  • Collaborate closely with Operations, Finance, Manufacturing, Sales, Technology, and Customer Success leadership teams.
  • Provide executive leadership and board stakeholders with operational intelligence, forecasting analysis, and strategic supply chain recommendations.
  • Lead and mentor high-performing global supply chain, procurement, and logistics organizations.
  • Support mergers, acquisitions, and enterprise integration initiatives involving operational infrastructure and supplier ecosystems.

Job Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related discipline required.
  • MBA or advanced executive operations education strongly preferred.
  • 15–20+ years of experience in global supply chain leadership, procurement operations, logistics management, or enterprise operations strategy.
  • Proven success within advanced manufacturing, aerospace, semiconductor, automotive, EV technology, consumer electronics, or multinational industrial organizations.
  • Extensive expertise in strategic sourcing, logistics optimization, inventory planning, supplier management, and operational transformation.
  • Experience managing highly complex international supply chain operations across multiple global regions.
  • Strong understanding of AI-powered supply chain technologies, ERP systems, predictive analytics platforms, and enterprise operational infrastructure preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation Package: $390,000 – $495,000
