The Head of Supply Chain will serve as a key executive leader responsible for overseeing global supply chain strategy, procurement alignment, logistics optimization, manufacturing coordination, and enterprise-wide distribution performance. This role is critical to driving operational excellence, cost efficiency, resilience, and scalability across the organization’s global supply chain ecosystem.

This position requires a highly experienced executive with deep expertise in global supply chain management, logistics operations, demand planning, procurement strategy, distribution optimization, and enterprise transformation leadership.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Global Supply Chain Strategy

  • Develop and execute an enterprise-wide supply chain strategy aligned with global business growth and operational objectives.
  • Lead end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, sourcing, manufacturing coordination, logistics, and distribution.
  • Establish scalable supply chain frameworks supporting long-term operational efficiency and global expansion.
  • Drive transformation initiatives, modernizing global supply chain systems and operational infrastructure.

Logistics & Distribution Management

  • Oversee global logistics operations across international freight, warehousing, transportation, and fulfillment networks.
  • Optimize distribution strategies to ensure timely delivery, cost efficiency, and service excellence.
  • Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers, freight partners, and global carriers.
  • Improve global network design to enhance speed, efficiency, and supply chain resilience.

Procurement & Supplier Management

  • Lead global procurement strategy ensuring cost optimization and supplier performance excellence.
  • Manage strategic supplier relationships, negotiations, contracts, and performance evaluations.
  • Develop sourcing strategies supporting operational continuity and risk mitigation.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement governance and ethical sourcing standards.

Demand Planning & Forecasting

  • Oversee demand planning processes leveraging advanced analytics and forecasting models.
  • Align supply chain operations with sales, marketing, and product demand forecasts.
  • Reduce stockouts, excess inventory, and operational inefficiencies through predictive planning systems.
  • Implement data-driven decision-making frameworks across supply chain operations.

Operational Excellence & Transformation

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across supply chain, logistics, and manufacturing operations.
  • Lead automation, digitization, and AI-driven transformation projects across global supply chain systems.
  • Implement KPI frameworks to measure performance, efficiency, and cost optimization.
  • Ensure operational scalability and resilience across global supply chain networks.

Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Lead and mentor senior supply chain leaders, logistics directors, and procurement teams.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Manufacturing, Sales, and Technology leadership teams.
  • Support executive decision-making with supply chain intelligence and operational insights.
  • Represent the supply chain function in executive and board-level strategic discussions.

Job Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • MBA or advanced executive education strongly preferred.
  • 15–25+ years of experience in global supply chain leadership, logistics operations, procurement, or enterprise operations roles.
  • Proven track record managing large-scale, multi-region supply chain networks.
  • Strong expertise in procurement, logistics, demand planning, and distribution optimization.
  • Experience with ERP systems, supply chain analytics tools, and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Certifications such as APICS CSCP, CPIM, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt are strongly preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation Package: $410,000 – $519,000
