The Director of Business Strategy will serve as a key executive partner responsible for shaping corporate strategy, identifying growth opportunities, evaluating market expansion initiatives, and supporting high-impact decision-making at the enterprise level. This role plays a critical part in aligning organizational priorities with long-term vision, competitive positioning, and operational execution.

This position requires a highly analytical and strategically minded leader with deep expertise in corporate strategy, business transformation, market intelligence, financial analysis, and enterprise growth planning.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Corporate Strategy Development

  • Lead the development and execution of enterprise-wide business strategy aligned with organizational vision and long-term growth objectives.
  • Identify strategic opportunities for market expansion, diversification, and operational optimization.
  • Develop multi-year strategic roadmaps supporting revenue growth, profitability, and competitive positioning.
  • Evaluate and refine corporate priorities based on market trends and business performance data.

Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis

  • Conduct in-depth market research, competitive benchmarking, and industry trend analysis.
  • Identify emerging market opportunities, disruptions, and strategic risks across global regions.
  • Provide executive leadership with actionable insights on competitive positioning and market dynamics.
  • Monitor macroeconomic, technological, and industry shifts impacting enterprise strategy.

Business Transformation & Growth Initiatives

  • Lead strategic transformation initiatives across business units, operational models, and revenue streams.
  • Support digital transformation programs, organizational restructuring, and innovation initiatives.
  • Identify efficiency opportunities and scalable growth strategies across enterprise operations.
  • Drive cross-functional initiatives, improving organizational agility and performance.

Financial & Performance Strategy

  • Collaborate with Finance teams on strategic forecasting, investment planning, and resource allocation.
  • Evaluate business cases for new initiatives, product launches, and market expansions.
  • Support executive decision-making with data-driven financial and operational insights.
  • Develop KPIs and performance frameworks aligned with enterprise objectives.

Cross-Functional Strategic Leadership

  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Product, Operations, and Finance leadership teams.
  • Align strategic initiatives across departments to ensure enterprise-wide execution consistency.
  • Facilitate executive strategy sessions and long-term planning discussions.
  • Support board-level presentations and corporate strategy communications.

Executive Advisory & Decision Support

  • Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO, CSO, and the executive leadership team.
  • Prepare executive-level reports, strategic briefs, and decision support materials.
  • Lead high-impact strategic projects with enterprise-wide implications.
  • Support mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, and investment strategy evaluations.

Job Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or related field required.
  • MBA or advanced degree from a top-tier institution strongly preferred.
  • 10–18+ years of experience in corporate strategy, management consulting, business transformation, or enterprise planning roles.
  • Experience working within global enterprise technology, SaaS, consulting, or multinational corporate environments.
  • Strong background in financial modeling, strategic planning, and business analysis.
  • Experience with executive-level advisory roles and cross-functional strategy execution.

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation Package: $280,000 – $405,000
