The Director of Business Development will serve as a senior commercial leader responsible for driving global revenue expansion, identifying strategic partnerships, building enterprise sales pipelines, and executing high-value business growth initiatives across international markets.

This role requires a highly strategic business development executive with deep expertise in enterprise sales strategy, global partnerships, market expansion, SaaS commercialization, and high-value B2B relationship management.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Global Business Growth Strategy

  • Develop and execute enterprise-wide business development strategies aligned with revenue growth and global expansion objectives.
  • Identify and pursue new market opportunities across international regions and high-growth industry verticals.
  • Design scalable go-to-market strategies to support enterprise product adoption and revenue acceleration.
  • Lead strategic growth planning sessions with executive leadership teams.

Strategic Partnerships & Alliances

  • Build and manage high-value strategic partnerships with enterprise clients, technology partners, and global ecosystem stakeholders.
  • Negotiate complex commercial agreements, partnership structures, and long-term enterprise contracts.
  • Develop alliance strategies to expand market reach and strengthen competitive positioning.
  • Maintain executive-level relationships with key stakeholders across Fortune 500 organizations.

Revenue Expansion & Pipeline Development

  • Drive end-to-end enterprise sales pipeline development across global markets.
  • Identify, qualify, and close high-value business opportunities in alignment with revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to accelerate deal execution and conversion rates.
  • Implement data-driven sales strategies to optimize pipeline performance and revenue forecasting.

Market Intelligence & Competitive Strategy

  • Analyze global market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes to identify growth opportunities.
  • Translate market insights into actionable business development strategies.
  • Identify emerging industry trends and position the organization for early market advantage.
  • Support executive leadership with strategic market intelligence reporting.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Partner with Product, Marketing, Finance, Legal, and Operations teams to support business expansion initiatives.
  • Align business development strategies with product roadmap and organizational objectives.
  • Lead cross-functional deal execution teams for complex enterprise opportunities.
  • Ensure seamless coordination between commercial, technical, and operational stakeholders.

Executive Relationship Management

  • Develop and maintain senior-level relationships with enterprise decision-makers and strategic partners.
  • Represent the organization in executive meetings, industry events, and global conferences.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients on digital transformation and business optimization strategies.
  • Strengthen long-term client partnerships through value-driven engagement strategies.

Job Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Economics, or related field required.
  • MBA or advanced executive business education strongly preferred.
  • 12–18+ years of experience in business development, enterprise sales, strategic partnerships, or revenue leadership roles.
  • Proven experience in SaaS, enterprise technology, AI platforms, cloud computing, or digital transformation industries.
  • Strong track record of closing high-value enterprise deals and driving global revenue growth.
  • Experience working with Fortune 500 clients and multinational organizations preferred.
  • Strong understanding of complex B2B sales cycles and strategic negotiation frameworks.

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation Package: $295,000 – $410,000
