The Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer will serve as a critical executive leader responsible for developing and executing enterprise-wide diversity, equity, inclusion, belonging, and cultural transformation strategies across all global business operations.

This role requires a visionary executive with deep expertise in organizational culture transformation, inclusive workforce strategy, executive leadership advisory, global talent development, change management, and enterprise DEI governance.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Enterprise Diversity & Inclusion Strategy Leadership

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive global diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging strategy aligned with enterprise objectives and workforce transformation priorities.
  • Lead organization-wide initiatives focused on inclusive leadership, equitable workforce development, and global cultural engagement.
  • Establish measurable DEI frameworks, governance models, and accountability standards across all international business divisions.
  • Drive enterprise culture transformation initiatives supporting employee engagement, workforce belonging, and inclusive organizational growth.

Workforce Equity & Talent Transformation

  • Partner with Human Resources and executive leadership teams to strengthen equitable hiring, advancement, retention, and leadership development programs.
  • Oversee global workforce inclusion initiatives across recruitment, succession planning, compensation equity, and executive leadership pathways.
  • Build enterprise programs focused on employee resource groups, mentorship initiatives, leadership sponsorship, and inclusive talent pipelines.
  • Strengthen workplace accessibility, cultural intelligence, and equitable career development opportunities globally.

Executive Leadership Advisory & Organizational Alignment

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, board stakeholders, and global management teams regarding DEI strategy and organizational culture initiatives.
  • Provide executive coaching and leadership development support focused on inclusive management practices and cultural leadership capabilities.
  • Align DEI initiatives with corporate strategy, operational goals, and enterprise workforce planning.
  • Facilitate enterprise-wide dialogue around organizational culture, employee engagement, and inclusive leadership accountability.

Global Employee Engagement & Culture Development

  • Lead enterprise culture initiatives focused on collaboration, belonging, psychological safety, and employee experience enhancement.
  • Develop global communication strategies supporting transparency, inclusion, and workforce engagement.
  • Strengthen multicultural collaboration across international teams and regional business units.
  • Support organizational resilience and workforce adaptability during periods of transformation and enterprise growth.

Data Analytics & DEI Performance Management

  • Implement enterprise DEI analytics frameworks measuring workforce representation, engagement, advancement, retention, and inclusion metrics.
  • Utilize workforce data insights to identify opportunities for organizational improvement and leadership accountability.
  • Develop executive dashboards and board-level reporting structures supporting enterprise DEI governance.
  • Monitor regulatory developments and industry best practices related to workforce equity and inclusion standards.

Community Partnerships & Corporate Social Responsibility

  • Lead strategic partnerships with educational institutions, workforce organizations, community groups, and global diversity networks.
  • Support supplier diversity initiatives and inclusive procurement strategies.
  • Strengthen enterprise reputation through socially responsible workforce initiatives and community engagement programs.
  • Represent the organization at industry forums, leadership conferences, and global workforce transformation initiatives.

Job Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Leadership, Psychology, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or related discipline required.
  • Master’s degree or executive leadership education strongly preferred.
  • 15–20+ years of experience in diversity & inclusion leadership, organizational transformation, workforce strategy, or executive human capital management.
  • Proven success leading enterprise-wide DEI initiatives within healthcare, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, medical technology, or multinational corporate environments.
  • Strong expertise in workforce analytics, organizational culture transformation, leadership coaching, and change management strategy.
  • Experience advising executive leadership teams and board stakeholders on global workforce initiatives.
  • Deep understanding of international workforce regulations, inclusion practices, and organizational governance frameworks preferred.

  • Contribute to long-term organizational resilience, talent sustainability, and enterprise reputation initiatives.

Working Conditions

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation Package: $420,000 – $537,000
